The painting represents four women surrounding three men, all in a dance with their arms raised. In the performance, both the conscious and unconscious aspects dance in joy and carelessness. The different aspects of the psyche accept its condition, the mind understands who it is, where it is. Right in the same place as the symbolic fish that appears in the painting.

Fish are a key symbol in Taoism and more so in the artistic painting of Antonio García Calvente. We usually find the fish represented between two horizons: the celestial manifestation and the terrestrial manifestation, thus “when the fish looks up, it sees everything blue, when it looks down, it sees everything blue”. The fish lives between heaven and earth, it is not part of one world or another, it is not part of the celestial manifestation or the terrestrial manifestation, even so, between the two, it does not recognize either, it cannot differentiate its place or the manifestations that generate
