Inscription on painting: Dream of heaven and come

In Taoism, the cave is a place of transcendence and consciousness. It is the place where the master Bodhidharma achieved enlightenment by looking at a rock, on which, according to legend, his face was engraved since he was there contemplating it. That cave and that rock can still be visited today.

The Taoist, once his earthly affairs have been concluded, with his family and his people, goes to the mountain, to the cave, where he seeks enlightenment.

What he lives and finds in the cave is transcendence, illumination, peace, he finds himself and the entire Universe within his heart and his silence.

The snow is a representation of the YING par excellence. It is the highest purity of ying energy in Taoist art. The passive and loving ying energy that represents the mother is gathered on the highest mountain peaks. It is the mind of the mother, it is the purifying and white consciousness of the heavenly mother.

In the inscription and the title this is mentioned as “a dream”, because in consciousness, how can we be so sure that something is a dream or is real? Maybe we are the dream, maybe our experience is just a dream.
