The Animus means spirit, in the analytical psychology of Carl Gustav Jung it represents the eternal masculine in the unconscious of a woman. It is a link between the consciousness of the self and the collective unconscious. It is the ideal of the man in the mind of the woman

In this symbolic representation, the Animus tries to escape, there is a struggle in the person between what they want and choose and what they unconsciously have marked, the family baggage does not allow them to move forward and possibly they seek to “transform” the Animus, so it tries to escape , uselessly because in the mind there is no way out, it fights against itself, escapes from itself.
